Is there a mini wsm parts list on this forum?

So seeing all of your posts about build in a mini wsm has made me want one. I have been reading a ton of posts but cant seem to find a parts list. Has any body made one and posted it? Thanks.

You need at minimum a 32qt tamale steamer, a smokey joe BBQ ( silver or gold). If you have a gold all you need are a few nuts and bolts to create supports for one rack. If you want 2 racks you need another grate and more nuts and bolts.

If you use the silver you need two black pipe nipples and two 3/4" gate or ball valves.

Same nuts and bolts for grate supports.

A sheet of expanded 1'x2' (that's the size carried at hardware stores) for making a charcoal basket. Rebar wire ties if you don't weld to hold the charcoal box together.

There's some other misc parts that are mainly for making vent opening and closing easier.

Dirtsailor is the SMF authority on the mini and it seems that he has you covered. Make sure to post some pics as the build progresses.

Cool thanks for the quick reply. I think I may give one of these a try if I can find a pot for a decent price. I checked a shamrock food warehouse today and it was $53 but no way i'm paying that. I'll keep looking.

Walmart is the place for the pot. I just made a mini last weekend got pretty much all the parts at Wally world. The ball valves and black pipe you can get at Lowe's or HD.

Walmarts online site has had the pots in sale lately.

I think one reason why there isn't really a precise list of parts and pieces is once most get past the main components many modify or change things to suit their own needs.
