Ok this looked like a pretty good price to me so I couldn't pass it up. At my local Market Street (aka United Supermarkets) the price is $2.59 a lb. don't know how great that is, BUT they are buy 1 get 1 free. So I bought 2.. Almost 16lbs for not quite $20. Can't wait for Easter!

Yep...good price and Farmland is a good brand. Costco here sells boneless only @ 1.90 a pound....Safeway now way over $2 a pound and hardly any deals anymore of .99 a pound anywhere. Hams 'might' go on special for Easter but not yet here.....Willie

I would say that's a great deal for these days,I'm a meatcutter here in pa and we just got a couple cases in yesterday and our cost was $2.08,They say that the virus killing off the piglets is skyrocketing the pork right now, maybe it's not affecting the herds down there.Yea chef willie it's been a long time since i've seen .99 butts.those days might be gone.

Hey Willie, which Costco?  The one in Vancouver is up to 2.39 now (just bought a pack last weekend)

OUCH.....well, there you have it...prices can change quickly. I'm heading in to Costco soon for other things so I'll check again....been a while since I bought some obviously. I saw an article in the Eugene newspaper about beef prices shooting up due to the drought in Calif....pig prices going up probably won't be far behind.....

Forgot about the virus. Might have to swing and pick some up on the way home if the price still has not changed...

I would grab some now if they're cheap,we were told it could take 4-6 months before pork prices start to relax.

Market Street is usually a little pricier than most places around here so this is a really good price for them. I have a Costco card too and the pork virus makes me wish I had a deep freezer so I could stock up. Guess we´ll see.

I saw those too, but our United here always has a sale that are .98 cents a pnd so Im just gonna wait for those.

Wow. I don't think Market Street has ever had them that cheap, but like I said, they are a little pricier. It was buy one get one that made me want to buy them. $1.30 a pound is good for them. I usually buy boneless though so this will be a different experience for me.

Great price. Let's toss one on the grate TG!

I get mine at Wegman's for $1.49 lb. I picked up 4 last weekend. I almost got a couple today just incase the piglets don't make a come back. According to my wife , the CDC is working on a vaccine for the piggies.

That's a great price! We don't have Wegmans down here. I'll have to do some checking around the other stores I have. And great news about the pork. I noticed my usual bacon was up about $.50 to a $1 from it's regular price today...
