Finally warmed up enough so I could get out and smoke some

Yeah whatever! You all know that I smoke year round in all kinds of weather. The truth be told we still haven't really had winter weather this year! Now its spring and we are already having summer weather. Was 67° yesterday, and while doing the weekly shopping I saw that the New York Steaks were on sale so I picked up a nice 4 pack to throw in the mini while doing some yard work.

The lighting was bad, but that is TBS coming out, 365 lump, Cherry and Pecan. Was running the smoker down at 225° as I planned to sear the steaks.

Marinated in Worcestershire for 4 hours.

Gorgeous stuff out there in the West!

And if you need any of our "winter" I can send it, (as it is snowing to beat the band right now but then again we do "bring our own sunshine" in this great world, right), but your food looks just fabulous!!!!

I'll let you keep the snow for now! I may change my mind come summer and they tell us its to dry to smoke!

Yard Work?!?!  I'm not even sure I have a yard under all that white crap!!!

Hit 70* here yesterday ----Back to 9* this morning!!!!

Yeah we've had the strangest winter. I don't even know if you can call it winter. We had one cold week and then that one day that it snowed 30". Other than that its been in the 50' with lows in the 30's. Forecast for Saturday is 72°!!! I'll be building fences and smoking something!
 
The steaks look amazing Case!  That's a plate I'd eat up any time!  We are finally having some warm days here...the weather nerds are saying we might get some 80* days next week!  So sadly, yard work is on my honey-do list too.
