New to the forum as of today.

Writing from the great State of Michigan (S.W. Mich), born and raised here some 44 years ago.  First time poster but I have been browsing from time to time.

I have been smoking casually for the last couple years and have had several success along with quite a few failures.

I am currently using a Masterbuilt 30" digital electric smoker and / or my weber grill that I sometimes modify into a smoker.

Woods of choice:  Hickory and Apple are what I use the most.  Just recently bought a bag of cherry to try out. I also have some pecan pellets for my A-Maze-In pellet smoker (cold smoking) that I have yet to use.

Ok, all for now.  Thanks for letting me join and I am sure I will have a lot of questions!
