With the help of the great folks at this forum I built a Mini Weber Smokey Mountain smoker over the holidays.  It was a fun project and easy too.  I plan to use it for ranger game tail gating. I seasoned the lil fella on New Years Day and now its ready to go!

I can't think of a better first smoke than Scar Belly Wings! Everyone love them...

I inject the wings with a 50/50 mix of squeeze "butter" and Franks Wing Sauce.

And place my wings on the 2 top grates.

Fire it up and lets see if I can cook on this little guy. This should be a blast.

I'll be back in a bit.  ….Gumbo on the stove needs tending.

Wings and gumbo? Show off !

<chuckles>
It's not my fault Kev… Blame Snorkeling Girl. I'm busy as a one armed wallpaper hanger.

But didn't the roux turn out nice tonight?

And tomorrow I got the great idea about using my new grinder to make "fresh hamburger" for grilling CB's and Dogs tomorrow.  I'll be glad when Monday comes around…

Help.

You could at least clean the weeds & grass off the wings after you dropped 'em man. Sheeeesh.

Sooooo.... well did your taste buds and budettes do the "Thru the grapevine" dance? Looks like the raisins are in your mouth!

Happy Happy Mouth.

It's called a fancy garnish Martha Foamheart Stewart. A'nt ya got no manners?

I only had one wing.  Too much gumbo…  burp. b

Great looking wings on a great project. Well done.

Thank you my friend.  It's nice that you didn't mention that I dropped them in the grass like "you know who" did.

Hey Brian,

I was watching for this thread, but it slipped past me somehow. Great looking wings, love the color on them! All of you mini-WSM folks are turning out such beautiful stuff, makes me think I should start building one too.

Wow, what a weekend of cooking projects! You've got to go back to work and get some rest!

Have a great week!

Thanks Clar.  You're too kind.  And if you decide on putting a MWSM together give us a holler. b

Clarissa-These Mini's are so sweet to cook on-I'm saving up my pennies just so I can build me another one!
