Congrats! Can't wait to see pics of your new baby, and the que that comes off of it!

I'm picking up my lang this weekend and I know exactly how you feel, I just can't stop thinking about it!

Let me know your thoughts about the warmer box once you get a chance to play with it... I wasn't sure if I should hold out and get one with a warmer box as well, but since I won't be cooking with it away from my house, I didn't see the need for one.

We'll I'm always looking for ways to take some heat out of the kitchen and if I can throw some beans in the warmer or any side it's a real plus for is. I just figured if I hadn't of got it I would have kicked myself for not getting it. I'll be driving down in 3 weeks to pick it up.

Just curious as to what the shipping was going to be, did you get a quote or did you just plan on driving down regardless?

You did the right thing by getting it, it's better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

While you're down that way see if you can make time to head over about 50 miles to the east and check Southern Soul BBQ on St. Simons Island. They use the big Langs and put out some pretty good que. Plus St. Simons is a REALLY nice place.

I never got a shipping quote. I'm only 5 hours away and just decided to drive down. I wanted a chance to talk with Ben and look at a 60 and 84. Plan on picking up one of the big boys in a couple years.

Yea I've heard of Southern Soul and have been to St. Simmons once before, just never got around to eating there. My bride to be is driving down with me and I may have to take her out once we get down there to make up for the $1500 chunk of steel were going to be picking up. Lol

Well you'll probably need to spend the night, and you can get pretty good rates this time of year. The Seagate Inn is really nice, has a great water view and isn't too pricey. Their rooms are like deluxe apartments. Have fun and congrats on both the new Lang and the wife that didn't tell you you're crazy for buying it!!

It's been a day and already the wait is killing me. It's like a kid seeing all those presents underneath the tree and having to wait till Christmas to open then. I'm having to refrain from calling everyday just to see how the build is going. Lol
