My name is Rick and I smoked my first chicken 2 weeks ago. It came out perfect! I just finished a 4bird smoke with cherry wood. Nice! I am from Apple Valley,MN. I am using a Brinkmann modified smoker I bought from my Brother-in-law who introduced me to smoking and smokingmeatforum.com. I will post pictures in a bit of the 4 birds.

Above are the chickens I smoked. They turned out awesome! Nice and juicy. Nothing dry. Smoked about 8 potatoes with them. They were perfect. The cherry wood did not overpower at all. I only used enough charcoal to get a base and wood the rest of the time. I will be smoking a pork loin tomorrow and my first brisket on Saturday or Sunday.
