So I'm looking at selling my smokin-it #3 smoker and going to a pellet smoker. I can get both for the same price, anybody have experience with one or both?

I don't have direct knowledge of them (I bought a Rec Tec earlier this year), but I did research all 3 when I was shopping. I'd say they are all very good rigs, I think you can buy that YS480 a bit cheaper than the other 2? They were a bit out of my price range, but the Memphis and the MAK have a name for being high end products. You would likely be happy with any of the 3 you chose.
Perhaps some owners of those rigs will chime in and give you some more direct feedback.

I think I've narrowed it down to the Yoder ys480 or the ys640, to yoder owners what option did you get if any and where did you purchase it from. Thanks
