Trout Fillets (KISS)

My Son finally brought me a few Trout Fillets.

This year the only ones I get are the ones that don't stay alive long enough to make it to his back yard pond.

Mrs Bear wasn't home, and I didn't feel like making sides, so Trout is it!!

I kept it simple:
Soaked in salt water over night.
Then in cold clear water for a few hours.
Then into a frying pan with a bunch of butter.
Sprinkled some Pork Rub on them for a little added flavor.
Flipped over a few times until a fork slid through easily.

Mighty Tasty for PA State Stocked Trout !!!

Thank You Todd !!!

Looks good... Basically simple as I like  mine except I'll do them over the coals to get some smoke.  Love my cast iron.
Thanks Keith!!

Right now doing them over the coals is still a little much.

Looks GREAT Bear.

Like my grandpap used to make them for me.
