Yesterday we topped out at 104*, which is smokin hot for here! Typically we are in the upper seventies, middle eighties for most of the summer. The last couple weeks we've been in the 90's and low hundreds! It was 75* this morning at 5 am when I came in to work. Needless to say cooking hasn't been a top priority but we still have to eat! Yesterday we harvested some veggies and decided that turkey burgers sounded light enough for dinner. Wish we had fresh tomatoes, but we don't. We did get some fresh lettuce and finally some spinach to use as a topper. The rolls are Parmesan, black pepper, and poppy seed. Used Aunty Liliko'i Habanero passion fruit mustard (this stuff is awesome an can be ordered online.). Served with fresh out of the garden grilled zuch!

Looks fantastic!!! We've been having fairly high temps here too and I don't like it one bit.
Thanks Alesia! We're supposed to get a cool down this weekend and I'm looking forward to that!

Looks great! hope you get some mators soon. I sure am enjoying mine. Hope the heat doesn't come our way. We have been below normal.

Happy smoken.

Those look like great sandwiches.

I thought we had it tough here when it went to 34 C (about 85 F). I don't know if I could stand over 100 F but those sandwiches would make it more bearable.
