Eye round on the Weber







Breaking in the new Lodge Skillet

 




I quickly learned to use only half the skillet then flip the meat onto the other side,

Bottom left 3 were just flipped, two to the upper right were flipped onto the hot side of the skillet.

How tender did they get. I use Eye Rounds for Dried Beef, because it's so lean, and I slice it paper thin.

The grilled ones were very tender because I used the Jaccard.

The Lodge Grill ones were tough...OOOPS I forgot to tenderize, my kids were pissed! Good flavor but tough.

Since I have been salting and using the Jaccard, they always ask for steak, I think it was like $2.47 a pound, I picked that up right after I put back the Beef Tenderloin at $10.37 a pound it was 8.57 last time I looked.... WTF, really!!!

So far, but its only been used once, need to try some chicken, skin on and burgers.
