I have just updated my stock barbecue sauce last month and I thought I would post the recipe. I call it Passing Wind Estates Barbecue sauce. It is a KC style and is sweet and only a little spicy. It isn't as heavy in ketchup as some and I like that personally.

Here is the recipe:

PWE Barbecue Sauce

1/2 cup Onion ; chopped

2 cloves Garlic ; chopped

2 tablespoon Butter or margarine

1 1/2 cup Ketchup

1/2 cup Water

1/4 cup Cider Vinegar

1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce

1/4 teaspoon Hot pepper sauce

1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

2 tablespoon Brown sugar

2 teaspoon Chili powder

2 tablespoon Molasses

-= Instructions =-

Saute onionin butter over medium heat until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Add garlic and stir for 1 minute.. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Also, a buddy and I do vanity You Tube videos of our cooking. I have embedded the you tube video.

Ahhh, you crackin' me up dude......nice post, interesting vid, looks like a good time had by all.....Willie
Thanks, Willie. My buddy got in a motor cycle accident a few years ago and smashed his leg up pretty good. He was housebound for several months. I was over at his place and was making him dinner and he asked if he could video it just for something to do. He did a video of me making the worst chili in the history of mankind. He took the time to research how to edit it and post it and we were away on you tube with a cooking video. We have done several since and have had a gas doing them.

I hadn't done any for quite awhile and my friends were after me to do more now that I am retired. I figured, why should they suffer alone and embedded it here. Don't hate me.

Welcome to my world. I was raised with English cups, ounces etc but had to convert whenever I got an American recipe. Then Canada started to go metric. Now I have 3 standards to convert to and from. However, now that I am using more metric measurements, they are easier.
