After looking for years I finally found this smoker for sell around January 20, 2013 on CL. It was located in Tyler, Texas very close to where my parents live around a (8 hour drive for me) I called my Dad up and told him if he was in that neck of the woods, checking out tractors, go ahead and stop by check this smoker out, before I made a detour that way during spring break to buy it. (I wanted to make sure it had leaf springs, was in tow, not rusted out etc.) The smoker was built by two guys in Tyler who both have 40+ years welding experience that work in the oilfield. They made 60 of these smokers and this was the last one they made out of the 60. They told my dad after 59 smokers you work all the bugs out and figure out what works and what does not. My dad was so impressed with it that he paid them cash on the spot and held it for me knowing it would not last till march at the price it was listed at. That was Jan 24th the same day I called my father about it. He called me that night after seasoning it with some pin-oak to tell me it would be at the their house for me when I came down in march, I was very grateful and had the money to pay him back. On Feb 4, 2013 at the age of 53 my father had a heart attack and passed away, he was in the best shape of his life, didn't smoke, didn't drink, worked outside, and exercised ate right. Life is short and makes you appreciate all that you have left when you lose something so special and irreplaceable. The last thing my father and I talked about was making money with this smoker which is what I intend to do! So here she is...

4 slide out racks, all 3/8" steel, storage on bottom both sides, 14' trailer new 3500lb axle, warming box with 3 slide out racks above fire box, dual side table ledge, 6" stack,  oilfield catwalk, removable plates on bottom to divert smoke/heat for even heating, 2" square tubing, drain plug on front for easy cleaning with power washer, propane nipple attachment on back of smoke box for lp setup, (my favorite part...sliding doors! The doors slide up and down with ease on all metal rollers/tracts with stainless steel handles. Im having trouble posting multiple pics on one post but you guys get the idea... still cant believe what the builders sold this thing for! I have had 7 racks of ribs on one rack with room to spare. I plan on doing some charity cooks this year, have already done my first cookoff with it 8th place ribs out of 105 teams, and have cooked with it several times for friends. It was worth the wait and can honestly say I will keep it in the family for a long time!
