Not a recipe app that looks up recipes but an app that let's me put in my own recipes.  There are so many good ones i come across on here i'd like to keep them in my phone (and back them up)   I have an android phone..... Whatcha Got? ))

I've never used it on a phone but on a PC it's real easy and with the "Web Clipper" you can save whole webpages and view them later without being online. You can also view your whole account from any computer. I use it for all kinds of stuff.
I see they have a "Food" app for phones that looks like it would be easy and very good.

Thanks Dave, i'll check that out.

I just found this. bigoven.com    Looks very cool, i've added a recipe from the website and it syncs to the phone when you download the app.  Very cool features and should be helpful.

Sorry to jump into your thread but I need to be able to add and read from computer and phone

Yes sir...  Android,  to  add a  recipe for now i guess you do it from your computer but it syncs to the phone.  I just added a chipolte recipe on here and copied/pasted it and it saved it, just accessed it from my phone.

What I like about Evernote is I don't have to copy/paste, just 1 click on the webclipper button and it saves the whole webpage so I can save a complete SMF thread with just 1 click.

Do I need webclicker on my phone to do this?

I have been using Paprika on my iPhone and love it! If there was a way for it to support forum recipes it would be better. But with that said I just copy paste if I feel the need to copy something here. One of the features that paprika has is the ability to save web based recipes from supported sites. Just use the search feature in Paprika and select the recipe site you want hit save. It breaks out the ingredients and directions with out having to copy paste. Has a meal planner which I really don't use. Also has a grocery list generator that is awesome. Has cook timers, Conversion calculator, scale ingredients tool. It is also cloud supported so you can access your recipes from other devices. For $4.99 it does everything I wanted and then some.

I have a friend who uses Paprika and swears by it, but I can't vouch for it personally as I haven't used it myself.

I have used MacGourmet for years.  Unfortunately, I don't think that my recommendation will actually help you.  I do love it, but I am also pretty sure the platform is limited to Mac/iDevices.
